6 Huawei Nexus 6P Tips & Tricks

Google's latest most talked about smartphone, Nexus 6P by Huawei has received quite an overwhelmed feedback for it great performance and butter-smooth new Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

There are some hidden features that you may missed out and you have yet fully explore the new Google's flagship smartphone.

Here are 6 tips and tricks of the Nexus 6P:


1. Enable System UI Tuner Settings



By long-pressing the Settings button on the notification panel it will unlock the hidden System UI Tuner Settings. This allows you to arrange the Quick settings, status bar and much more.

2. Active Battery Percentage Status

By default, Nexus 6P doesn't show the battery percentage and you only guestimate the balance battery through the tiny small battery icons. By enabled the System UI Tuner Settings you can now enable to show battery percentage.

3. Better Display with sRGB Picture Color Mode

Some may not like the over saturated the nature AMOLED display thus you can change the picture color mode to sRGB. First you need to enable the developer option by tapping the Build number in About's phone settings for 7 times.

Once the developer option enable, go in the option and activate the sRGB mode.



4. LED Notification Light

Without pointing out this, you may not know there was a notification LED next to the front camera. By default, it was disabled and you can turn it on by going to "Settings - Sound & Notification - Pulse Notification Light"



5. Quick Launch Camera 

You can double press the power button to launch the camera app instantly. This is good for those who want like to take photos and video.



6. File Manager

Couldn't find file manager? Need to install third party apps? Hold your horses! There is a File Manager in the Operating System itself. It located at "Settings-Storage & USB-Explore"
