Carrying a powerbank around is quite norm for those who are heavy user, gamer and video streaming. ASUS has one smartphone that overcome this problem and it's available now in Malaysia, ASUS Zenfone Max.

The Zenfone Max has an enormous 5,000mAh battery similar to Lenovo VIBE P1. It powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 coupled with Adreno 306 GPU. It has a 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of internal storage. It comes with a microSD card slot that supports up to 64GB.



It sport a 5.5-inch 1,280 x 720 IPS display coated with latest Corning Gorilla Glass 4 and brightness up to 450 nits.

Zenfone Max also feature laser auto focus assist like the Zenfone 2 Laser that provide fast and snappy camera function. The 13 megapixel rear camera has f/2.0 lens, dual color real tone flash and 0.03 second laser auto-focus. The selfie department get a 5 megapixel auto focus camera with wide 88 degrees f/2.0 lens.

Dual SIM and dual standby available on Zenfone Max, support LTE Cat 4 that can have download up to 150 Mbps / upload up to 50 Mbps.

The 5,000mAh juice able to provide 38 days or 914 hours of standby time and 37.6 hours of talk time in just a single charge. The battery are non removable like others Zenfone series. One advantage that Zenfone Max has is that it can reverse charge other devices, work like a powerbank.

The Zenfone Max is now available at authorized ASUS retails and store with price tag of RM 899 only.
