Maxis Unveiled Their First 4G Smartphone, NeXT M1

Today Maxis launched its own banrded 4G smartphone that called NeXT M1. The device can be owned with no upfront payment for just RM 78 a month with ready to use data and calls.



So what powered the NeXT M1?

Under the hood is a MediaTek MT6755M Octa-core processor and paired with 2GB of RAM. It sports a 5.5-inch Full HD IPS display and to keep the lights on is a 2,960 mAh battery. It has a 16GB onboard storage and can be further expands via microSD card slot.

Yeah! It doesn't sound that high-spec 4G smartphone as Maxis market it.

Camera wise is a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front camera. The NeXT M1 will be running on pure Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow (I assume) and can't be further upgrade.



The RM 78/month ownership of the NeXT M1 offers you 4GB of data and 50 minutes free calls. Maxis also offers 24 months warranty with one fore one replacement and 6 months screen protection.

If you are interested, the NeXT M1 will be available through Maxis Online Store, Maxis Centres and Maxis Exclusive Partners starting tomorrow, 3rd March 2017.
