Official LG Q6 is Now Official. Budget Version of LG G6

LG G6 was the first smartphone to introduce an unique 18:9 aspect ratio display this year, and the LF G6 makes it easy to get the big-screen experience without bigger footprint.

Today LG announced its budget devices that carrying the same 18:9 aspect ratio display but at lower resolution as compare to the LG G6. The LG Q6 is sporting a resolution of 2,160 x 1,080 with density of 442 ppi. Just like the LG G6, the Q6 also have curved edges on the screens and flushed well along with the curves on the rear chassis.


Powering up the LG Q6 is a Qualcomm's mid range Snapdragon 435 and mated with 2GB/3GB/4GB of RAM. Storage wise are 16GB on the 2GB RAM variant follow by 32GB on the 3GB RAM variant and lastly the 64GB on the 4GB RAM.

To keep the lights on is a 3,000 mAh battery and run on Android 7.1.1 out of the box on top LG's UX 6.0.

In terms of cameras, it feature a 13 megapixel rear camera alongside a 5 megapixel front camera with 100-degree wide-angle lens. The LG Q6 doesn't come with fingerprint scanner, instead it use LG's Face Recognition feature.

No words on the prices but the company did mentioned the Q6 will go on sales in Asia starting next month and followed by Europe, Latin America and North America.
