Xiaomi Mi 5 Received Approval From SIRIM Malaysia

Some good news about Xiaomi. The newly announced Xiaomi Mi 5 received SIRIM Malaysia approval today.

How sure it was the Mi 5? None of the Xiaomi's smartphone support NFC except the Mi 5 that introduced during the Mobile World Congress 2016 in Barcelona last month.

The Mi 5 is powered with top-notch flagship processor, Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 and paired with either 3GB or 4GB of RAM. It also has storage option from 32GB and up to 128GB.

It sports a 5.15-inch Full HD display with ultra-thin bezel giving an impression of borderless display. The device is sandwiched with glasses on front and back.

To keep the lights on, Mi 5 is power packed with a 3,000 mAh battery and support Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0.

Camera wise, it features a 16 megapixel SONY's IMX298 sensor with hybrid auto focus, combination of PDAF and four-axis OIS. As for the front camera, it integrated with a 4 Megapixels Ultra-pixel camera that has 2ยต large sensor that good for low lighting capturing.

The Mi 5 comes with 3 colors options; White, Gold and Black. In China it comes with 3 variants that differ by storage size and SoC. The base version get a lower clocked SoC of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 at 1.8GHz and 32GB internal storage. The higher spec powered with Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 at 2.15GHz and 64GB internal storage. The PRO model, has an enormous 128GB internal storage and 3D ceramic back cover.
